About Me

In my past life I built (designed) superstructures in San Francisco , Prisons in California, Bridges in Arizona. I have work in the industry Nano technologies and Delectric etching machines that created the devices we use today.

As I rode the dot com wave in the 90's working in or with 22 startups, while holding down a careers in architecture, film, game design development, ad agencies, fortune 500 companies like cisco, IBM, even worked with Nano technologies and dielectric etch industry that created the chips our smart phones or devices use.

A decade of wrangling 2D / 3D art, animation, slot game design, video game development, multi-player game designs, educational psychology games, casino gaming, new technologies, and PC game development.

5 Years of both TV commercials and film advertising agency experience.

TV broadcasting, executive briefing development, multimedia development, graphic design with web applications, interactive DVD, radio commercials. 7 Years of the web, UX design, a decade of software experience, Web portals, UX, UI Visual Parts, (IDE) design and development.

I have been keeping my skills sharp, honing my broad skills in areas of machine learning, deep learning and dabbling in artificial intelligence. Pursuing development Alexa SkillSets with voice control and modal voice ti integrate this technology into my game developing mechanisms and components. For any industry these days to see if I can help contribute to your technology visions in anyway.

I'm currently open for hire as consultant or a technology advisor, in the areas of animation, art tools, automation in communication arts, training developers, creative types and especially the young.

    When Chuck creates all characters are Quad based characters with complete body rigs and facial morphs ready for lip sync and motion capture.
    Chuck is able to intuitively customize AAA-quality characters with speed and quality.
    He is able to quickly optimize characters with mesh optimization technologies proficiently ability to create & capture face/body motions with the most powerful animation tools today.
    Chuck's production tools allow him to directly import characters to game engines with automatic conversion to unity, unreal, or sketchfab.

So what have I done during my recent career?

One thing that is for sure is that I can tell you story after story of what I have failed at, in my career as a technical artist/ animator, developer but my successes have almost balanced out the negatives and probably equaled in being fortunate to work some pretty darn cool technology advancements.

What I'm known for in the gaming industry are for co-developing game mechanics and game play for (6) well known movie title casino games, will training up (inspiring) 15 technical artist in 15 weeks, in the summer of 2013, resulting in legendary industry record earnings for Aristocrat Technologies along with helping shift the industry under the leadership of Joe Kaminkow and Kurt Larsen. All this was done by, juggling both On-the-fly research, design and development of game mechanics, architecture and engineering. We created 2 towering platforms, which stand 9 ft tall. conjunction developing thriving team culture of winning ways for 15 awesome technical artists.

Technical Artist Plug in inventions: Invented 3 patent game methods and game controllers. Developed multiple custom machine learning plug-in tools for validations in checking artwork pixel dimensions, proprietary game syntax, code traversing, code patterns, and animation sequences via custom UI Adobe ™After Effects JSX extensions for creating JIRA communications and bug reports via a single source game file. A method of automating a rebuilding of game components from legacy proprietary game files. Developed multiple plug-ins that rapidly generate components necessary for rapid game production deliveries meeting the business expectations of excellent quality.

Wonder Wheels platform was designed in 15 weeks with the wheel and video interaction developed the week before the 2013 G2E Tradeshow. The Cave of Solitude Pick Bonus
was the most complex interaction which used a unique animation reveal method that we invented.

Wonder Wheels engineering developed a unique method of reveal that the technical artist and Lead artist presented a solution for creating a a sort of reveal shader on an antiquated platform.

I maintain legal status with a gaming license (gaming card) to build class 3 in the state of Nevada and Class2 in the united states and world wide. I'm competent to equip and train technical game mechanism to artist and animators world wide.
